Weird suspension question

Really weird one to explain here but wondering if anyone can help,

Car has just passed its MOT with no issues so can’t imagine any drastic problems, hogeer, after starting the car, to leave my estate I have to go over a few speed bumps.

It only ever does it in the cold, but the suspension creaks almost, only in the front of the car when hitting any bumps, sounds almost as though you sit on a springy bed is the best way to explain it,

After going over a few bumps it completely goes away, seems as though it’s like it’s almost frozen up or something, perhaps lack of lubrication?

Any one else have any other ideas before I delve into the rabbit hole trying to find the cause.

Thanks

Motor mounts—my passenger side mount went bad at 60k, and it only made noise when it was cold.

Funny enough, I’ve got a knocking noise that I’ve been meaning to check out, and I think it might be related to the motor mounts.

Definitely the top mount, the one under the expansion tank, spray some engine oil into it it’ll go away for a few days but replace it ASAP along with the REM. Both easy to do with a jack and some sockets. And a hammer for the rear mounting bracket

Cheers mate, I’ll have a look thanks

Not to hijack the thread, but I’m sure my mounts are worn out too. Does anyone have recommendations for high-quality mounts that don’t increase NVH much? I’m way overdue for replacements, especially since I swapped the rear with a stiffer Cobb mount 60k miles ago and should have replaced them all at once. Any advice is much appreciated!
