When I tuned with stratified I had made 3 maps on one tune file and was able to pick through them 93oct E30 and eco with my cruise control. The question I have is if I get a dizzy tune will I still be able to have 3 maps on one file or will I have to re flash the car every time I want to change my tune? Can somone explain please as stratified seems to be a more noob friendly website.
Jason won’t combine tunes on a single map.
That was my experience too. He explained his reasoning, and it made sense to me. Combining tunes on one map could make it too easy to accidentally switch to the wrong one and potentially damage your engine. You can carry plenty of maps on your AP, so just take the 5 minutes to switch and stay safe.
Yeah, that’s rough. I’ve almost accidentally switched tunes while driving on the highway too, but it’s still pretty annoying. I can definitely see myself sticking with one map just because it’s easier than switching.
I emailed him about this the other week. He doesn’t want to take the risk.
Yes, it can be set up that way. Just email Dizzy and let them know what you want to do.
Yes, you should fill out the tuning form first, then email Dizzy with your request.
Ah, got it! It’s a good idea to email them first with your questions to confirm they’ll do what you want before filling out the tuning form.
