I’ve got this car as a daily beater, but I enjoy making small mods here and there that make it look better, what do you guys suggest I do? (It’s not perfect, I know, paint is a little rough)
It’s a great choice! I used to own a Zetec myself. You should consider adding the Zetec wing on the back, fitting newer-style aftermarket lights, and installing leather heated seats. There are some good turbo kits available online, and a new aftermarket exhaust would really elevate it.
I have a Mk5 too, but with pre-facelift lights.
You could tint the rear windows, swap the wipers for aero blades, and change the bulbs to clear or colorless. My side repeaters came clear by default. Updating the spoiler, seats, and head unit/CD player would be great too. The list could go on, haha!

Inside I have already updated the radio, with all of the speakers and I installed front tweeters, sound is crisp, I had to do a bit of mini mods to support the shake in the dors from the bass it now outputs, but it’s on the right path with the sound equipment.
