Looking for 2019 Evap Harness/Purge Valve

Howdy. My 2019 runs an aftermarket intake system, but my purge valve is starting to act up, and I finally got a CEL to go with my choppy idle.

A quick trip to my local Ford Dealership’s parts department has sourced one of the two lines for the evap harness (shown in picture 2), but they can’t seem to find the other line. I was wondering if any of you late model FiST owners know what the part number is.

Note: I’m not looking for a 2014 retrofit kit. I plan to return my intake system to stock and restart from there with one of the few intakes that are made for 2016+ models.

Have you tried just replacing the valve? If you have a heat gun, it’s a pretty easy fix.

After speaking with Ron at Whoosh, it seems that all 2016+ kits have a workaround that eventually fails. I bought the K&N 2016+ kit for mine and got a CEL immediately. Switching to the 2014-2015 mod fixed it right away.

This is the correct answer.

The newer Evap lines are flawed, I replaced mine twice before switching to the early version. 3 years later and zero issues.

Man, that’s exactly what happened to mine too. It seems like the retrofit mod is the most hassle-free option at this point.

It really is. My intake and that mod were my first real experiences working on cars, but even I was able to handle it. The retrofit mod is especially easy—just unplugging and plugging things back in. The only tricky part is the plug way in the back.

Try Rock Auto. If that doesn’t work, you could just get the valve and use a heat gun to replace it.

What part number are you using? I’m checking the Tasca Ford website and trying to figure out if I’m on the right page.

Whoosh has them, but I would recommend buying just the purge valve from RockAuto.
