How to add an extra wireless key

Was wondering since I have a key but I don’t know how to connect it. I only have one working one and I’ve tried the advice online by starting and stopping the car 7-8 times in a row but it didn’t work. Or should I just go to a mechanic

I purchased a few uncut keys on eBay and programmed them to my car using these steps. You basically cycle the key and then press a button on each fob (make sure to do all keys at once).

To program a key fob for a 2014 Ford Fiesta, you can follow these steps:

  1. Ensure all doors are closed and get inside the vehicle.

  2. Press the UNLOCK button on the driver’s side door.

  3. Within 10 seconds, turn the ignition from OFF to RUN eight times, ending in the RUN position on the last turn.

  4. When the door locks cycle, press any button on the key fob you want to program.

  5. The door locks will cycle again to confirm the programming.

  6. Repeat step 4 for any additional key fobs you want to program.

  7. Finally, turn the ignition to OFF to complete the process.

If that doesn’t work, you might not have keyless entry.

I’ve got a 2018 Ford fiesta titanium I’ve tried these steps before but it either didn’t work or I didn’t do it right I’ll try it once again now . Thank you I’ll let you know if it did work

I’ve tried it just now step by step and it didn’t work , I’m not sure what the problem could be tbf

So would I just need to press the start and stop button over and over again for 8 times ending it on start? I don’t have the metal bit where you put it into the car, it’s just a key fob with the open, lock and open the trunk
