I’ve got a 2015 fiesta going to change the battery but the original battery is dead should this be straight forward or will I need to code it ?
Yes, you’ll definitely need to do something about it.
I jump-started my 2013 Fiesta a few years ago, and it went into limp mode. When the AA arrived, they had to tell the engine management system that a new battery had been installed (even though it hadn’t).
Hope that clears things up!
It should be simple, just a matter of replacing it with a new one.
It would if I can get the bolt of the earth cable its not moving * *
WD40 is always worth a try. Leave it for an hour or so and try again. Gives it time to seep in.
Make sure you get the correct battery if your car has the EcoBoost engine with automatic start/stop.
