Hello I own a fiesta MK8 titanium which has led lights on the footwell of the driver and passenger and I also own a ST MK8 which doesn’t. Can I take the lights from the titanium and fit them in the ST ? Does it have the necessary space and cables or is it completely different ? Thank you all, every response is highly appreciated.
I have a 2019 MK8 Fiesta ST and retrofitted the footwell lights, and it was super easy.
The light holder and all the cables were already there and connected. I just plugged in the original Ford light “units,” and that was it.
The only small hassle was accessing the cable on the driver’s (left) side. It’s secured with a clip near the steering column, so you need some nimble fingers to release it. Once you get past that step, the rest is a breeze. 
Yes, mine turn off when I lock the doors and stay on while driving, just like the original ambient lights.
Okay so that needs to be plugged in with the light unit? Is this the passengers side?
That’s the driver side. The passenger side is super easy because the connector sits right beside the opening for the light unit.
Okay okay, I still can’t fully understand the position of the connector on the drivers side but I will get to it😝 . And it’s plug and play correct? No need to program through forscan? They turn off immediately after locking? Because some guy said that they stay on for 10mins before shutting down
