Anyone done this? It’s quite a bulky stereo unit - I’ve seen a few android units around and just wondered what the best option is.
This question comes up a lot but doesn’t usually get a solid answer.
I’m in the same situation. I want to upgrade the radio, but I’m not sure what the most reliable way to do it is.
On a lighter note, I’m thinking about asking around at the local McDonald’s car park when the guys with their hot-rod Fiestas show up. That way, you can actually see what they’re using and ask them plenty of questions about fitment and cost.
Pioneer just released this, and I think it would work really well. I was hoping to wait and see if someone else installs it in a Mk 7 and reports back, haha.
