I have a 2019 se. I usually get about 390-410 miles a tank. I’m seeing what actual mods can increase mileage i don’t just mean a throttle device or cold air…unless those actually add decent mileage, then i wanna know your real verifiable gains.
Is it an EcoBoost? These cars tend to perform surprisingly poorly in stop-and-go traffic. I get an estimated 800km after driving to the Netherlands (with a 100kph speed limit and smooth driving). But with my daily commute, it drops to 650km, even though it’s only slow traffic for the last 10 minutes. I imagine people who drive in heavy traffic get even worse results.
Meanwhile, my brother has an older Fiesta with a diesel engine, and he gets over 900km on all types of drives.
Sadly not an ecoboost but I do long drives alot, mostly highway miles
Then the only thing you can do to improve your mileage is good driving habits. Try to keep enough distance so you don’t have to use your brakes as much as possible. Driving a bit slower also matters. When I drive to The Netherlands (100kph limit) I do a lot better than in Germany (no speed limit).
