JDM guy here needs some advice So I have a chance to buy a 2013 Fiesta for $4k CAD (can probably get her lower) with 150,000km, I know very little about these cars other than the automatic transmission can be shit. Anything I should keep and eye open for? They reliable?

It sounds like that sensor issue can be a bit tricky, especially if it leads to unnecessary replacements like the alternator. It’s good to know that the problem is more about the sensor than the actual charging system. Hopefully, your neighbor can get that sorted out without too much hassle!
So nothing major then? I can live with some quirks as long as it runs and drives reliably 
I very highly recommend it. The neighbor very nearly sold it back to me, I wanted it back, kind of (really out of literal space though) they gave it to another kid of their’s and it still goes up over 100k miles now. I don’t think they ever fixed the fault
Good to know, I’m gonna take a look at it, my sisters fiancé had it then sold it to his buddy, he’s going through something so his moms selling it for him so I can at least trust the people selling😂(she is also my old boss who loves me so gonna see if I could get it for $3k)
