Yeah, just break it down and forget about it.
I’m seeing a lot of rust, and I’m guessing there are many more issues.
Replacing the tank would double its value.
And don’t even think about using it like that! That’s seriously dangerous!

From what I can see, the tank costs about 100 EUR.
You could try replacing it yourself; it’s not that difficult.
But if this was hidden, who knows what else has been painted over to make it look fine?
Out of curiosity, how much did you pay for it?
Think I may take a chance and sort out the tank and hope that if there are other issues they aren’t big…
Bought for around £900 with a years MOT, looking at the history it’s not had any issues even advisories that last two years…??
