It used to be in perfect condition, but now that it’s 10 years old, not so much.
I take great care of mine, washing it every 5 days and vacuuming the inside daily, even if it’s not dirty. Some people call it OCD, but I just can’t drive a dirty car.
I’d love to, but I live on a dirt road, so I’d have to wash my car every day just to keep it somewhat clean. It doesn’t help that it’s black, either.
It was in great condition when it was new, of course.
But five years later, with 100k miles, a few accidents, door dings, bent wheels from potholes, and a worn carpet from heels, it’s like a completely different car.
I’m planning to give it a deep clean and get new floor mats soon, along with new wheels (16s, so hopefully no more bent wheels) and tires. Hopefully, it will be in better shape, but this car has definitely had a rough time.
After 10 years and 132k miles, it’s dirty but still fun. Uhhh, when did daily driving become a flex? It’s just an econo hatch. I’m going to keep driving it until it rusts out and more parts start falling off.
I used to keep my cars looking nice, but I stopped once I started spending my time on other things. Now I wash my car maybe twice a year and keep the inside reasonably clean, that’s about it. Your car looks great though!
I’d love to, but life always seems to get in the way. With work, my wife, pets, and other hobbies, there just aren’t enough hours in the week.
I always focus on the interior. But taking it for a drive down a country lane and making it look like a rally car is just as satisfying. And wow, the replies here are wild – 100k miles as an excuse not to clean it? That must’ve been the previous owners of my cars!
