So since a while i noticed a sound when i turn off the engine, its a short 2-3 seconds buzzing sound, it sounds a a bit like some little motor or something for a moment.
Lately i also noticed that i tends to happen after starting the FiST.
Asked a mechanic but only got the useless Answer Live with it.
Is it normal? Im sure i never heard it before the last weeks.
If it’s anything like the ST180, then it’s normal—my manual even mentions it. Looks like the best advice is just to live with it!
Could be a fan or something—my WZ does something similar every now and then.
I think mine (MK8) does something similar, like a creaking sound. I’ve put it down to something with the AC or heaters activating. It mostly seems to happen just when you start the car.
It’s probably your cabin temp sensor. There’s a small fan inside it, and it’s got crappy bearings that can cause that noise.
I only have the basic non auto AC unit, i guess this one doesnt have a temp sensor
