2016 Fiesta SE suspension upgrades?

I’ve had my 2016 Fiesta SE (NOT, can’t stress that enough, an ST, once again it is NOT a fiesta at just the regular shit one) for a long time now, its super nice, still pretty low miles. But I’m getting bored with this thing it handles so well but it’s y’know kinda boring and ugly so I’m either gonna consider some suspension upgrades or I’m just gonna trade the car for something else. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Lowering kits, lowering/corrected shocks, coilovers, stiffer springs if not for coilovers, etc? I’m not really looking to upgrade anything else although I may PARTIALLY gut the interior IF I do all this. I don’t really wanna mess with the engine, ESPECIALLY not any engine/interior wiring because I do want the radio and everything to work as it does currently. I guess if you have recommendations for exhausts that work with the stock ECU and sensors that’s cool but if it’s loud and crappy I will have wasted even more money on this POS and I will be angry.

1.6 NA stock engine, automatic transmission (of course, because only an automatic fiesta owner would even make this post probably :joy:). Tia

Hatch? I believe all the ST suspension components should transfer over easily. I currently have an SE Hatch lowered on H&R Sport springs, and I’ve also added the Pierce Motorsports lower control arm tie bar.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a hatch or sedan, the suspension setup is the same.

Yes hatch. Thanks boss, I will look into that stuff later :smiling_imp:

I installed the Godspeed lowering springs on mine—it lowers it just enough. There’s still some wheel gap, but I prefer that since the roads around here are terrible. It’s really easy to do; for the rear, you just pop off the wheels, remove the single bolt holding the shock, push out the old spring, and install the new one. For the front struts, you’ll need a spring compressor, but it’s still a straightforward job. I wouldn’t lower it too much, though, as the ride quality is already pretty rough stock. I’d also recommend getting some ST wheels, as they’re a bit wider.

This is an awesome comment, seems like that godspeed kit would be a good choice since Ill probably still daily this after the mods

Give it everything you’ve got… I have a Zetec S manual. It has rear lower, rear upper, rear behind the seats, rear anti-roll bar, front upper, and front lower. It’s like a true go-kart!
